ASHWAGANDHA FOR MY ANXIETY
Little bit about me, I suffer from sever anxiety, depression and a form of thanatophobia (in which I constantly have a fear of my child dying). These things have affected my professional, social, and personal life. I was getting so bad but I really didn’t want to get on pharmaceutical medications. Ashwagandha has always been on my list to try so I did some research. After a week of using I noticed an extreme difference. I was able to focus, especially simple things like finishing a song on my playlist. Usually, I would just listen for a one verse and one chorus then NEXT! Certain memories would normally trigger my anxiety but now I notice it doesn’t. One day I even tried to give myself anxiety haha, no luck. I also noticed I was getting better sleep at night, which has always been a problem since I can remember. Readings do suggest not to take it long term. So, I just finished a bottle and I might take a break and see how I go. Ashwagandha MAY or MAY NOT help reduce stress and anxiety / athletic performance / depression / reduce blood sugar levels / reduce inflammation / memory and attention / improve sleep.

YONI STEAM FOR VAGINAL HEALTH
I first tried a yoni steam aka “clam bake” (hahaha) at a spa. I can save you the hassle by mentioning DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE AN IUD, you can dislodge, shift or expel it if you do. Although it was weird and interesting the first time I did it, I did it more recently because I was having a really bad IC (interstitial cystitis) / BPS (bladder pain syndrome trigger. I was desperate to find help through forums and I saw one woman wrote she was having horrible IC symptoms and a doctor she was seeing had her do yoni steam treatments. She said it helped so much so of course I had to try. It did help me tremendously. Even if you don’t have IC, yoni steams are great. You can check out the benefits of yoni steams and when NOT to use it, HERE.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE PRONE TO UTI’S AND/OR HAVE IC
If you have IC, you know it’s like having a UTI (urinary tract infection) times 100. There have been times I was at work crying on the toilet for an hour. You pee all night and the pain does not get tolerable at all. One night I was so desperate to talk to a doctor and I talked to one online, best $50 I ever spent because of all the doctors I have seen, they have never mentioned D-Mannose (DO NOT buy the one with cranberry in it), probably because it’s over the counter. I was reaching a 2 month trigger and after a day of starting this supplement, my symptoms minimized 70%, and if you know how bad symptoms are, you know 70% is a huge help! Other helpful remedies to relieve some are heating pads and yoni steams.
