THE RANT – ONE OF THOSE BAD WEEKS OR BLAME IT ON MERCURY IN RETROGRADE
Ok, so if you read my blog last week, you’ll know I had a pretty good week. Well, this week took a 180.
This week I had issues with three different customers. Each one a different issue and each one leaving me with anxiety.
Also! The other day I came home early and thought my son was kidnapped or something bad happened to him. It sounds silly but no! The way the story started was like a freaking movie! I’m at the doctor’s office, my son’s friend messages me that they found his phone on the floor. I just said ok I will let him know when I get home. I go home, he’s not there. I call his friend and asked when was the last time he say him and he said he went alone behind some apartments… So I pick up his friend to show and I’m yelling my son’s son like a mad woman. Thinking the worst! I drive around everywhere he would’ve walked home and did not see him! At this point he should have been home a couple hours ago and finally I see him on his way home. Best believe I yelled at hime to get in the car and I went nuts on him!!! After taking his friend home, and us finally going home… I was silent and collapsed in my bed. I hadn’t eaten all day, my period started, I had blood work, and I was in pain (the whole reason why I went to doctors) so to go home to that was just too much.
Anyways, it was a fair excuse. He lost his phone (not knowing his friend had it) and he was back tracking and took his time looking for it apparently. He knew if he came home with a lost phone I would not have been happy. But I told him there’s a tracker on it so forget the phone and come home. Omg the next 24 hours I had fell into a depression. I couldn’t shake off the experience and all the stories that were in my head. Sigh… glad the week is done. I hope this one is better.
DND… DO NOT DISTURB
I just came across this song this week and I feel it’s fitting 🙂
DIDN’T WATCH MUCH THIS WEEK
WORKIN’ MOMS (Netflix)
The series finale of Workin’ Moms has come to an end. I thought it was a graceful ending. Obviously their loves go on but no more pending conflicts. I fully enjoyed the show being a woman and a mom.
THE CITADEL (Prime)
I just started this show and I am fully invested. It’s about two spies. Some shiiii goes down and they lose memory… time passes and yea you can imagine the journey of who they were and some enemies along the way. The show stars Richard Madden (Eternals), Priyanka Chopra (Nick Jonas Wife, I haven’t seen her in anything), and Stanley Tucci (Devil Wears Prada). Definitely worth the ride! Check it out!
THE GREATEST SHOWMAN (DISNEY+)
My son saw this in school recently and told me I needed to see it. It was on my list when it came out but I was late to it and forgot about it. I watched it and loved it. It’s a musical about the Barnum Circus. Great soundtrack but made me get the chills and teary eyed all the time. I’m one of those sensitive people when it comes to certain tones and pitches in music. Great story! If you love musicals, hope you haven’t missed this.
Some shows I recommend if you have nothing to watch: Kim’s Convenience (Netflix), What We Do in the Shadows (Hulu), 90 Day Fiance (TLC), Titans (HBO), Yellowjackets (Showtime)
