THE RANT – DREAMS DREAMS DREAMS
I don’t know about you, but I have been extra tired lately. It’s weird but I feel my dreams have been making me tired. I realized a lot of people I know, do not really dream much. Well, my dreams are extremely vivid and it’s almost like watching a movie. I can remember full on conversations, smells, and details of my environment.
I’m curious to talk to anyone that, more days than not, has more vivid dreams and how it makes them feel. Do you feel exhausted? Do you wake up emotional, like you just left another life? Because I do. Do you have the same dreams? I do and sometimes I even dream about the same dream I had many years ago.

5 Causes of Vivid Dreams
Sleep experts have identified certain stressors that may produce vivid dreams in some people.
- 1. Sleep disruptions: Vivid dreams that linger with you or feel indistinguishable from real life may be the result of fragmented sleep. Waking during a period of REM sleep rather than at the end of a sleep cycle can cause you to remember your dreams more vividly.
- 2. Medical conditions: Vivid dreams may be linked to conditions such as narcolepsy, insomnia, and schizophrenia.
- 3. Medications: You may experience vivid dreams as a result of taking medication, including beta blockers, antidepressants, blood pressure medications, and some sleep medicines.
- 4. Stress, anxiety, and trauma: If you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, emotional trauma, or post-traumatic stress disorder, you may be more susceptible to vivid bad dreams.
- 5. Substance abuse: Vivid dreams may result from the use of drugs and alcohol.

CRACK CHICKEN TACOS!
So I had a bag of frozen chicken nuggets in my freezer. I wanted to amp up dinner so I did some googling and I found a crack chicken recipe! OH EM GEE, I have to share because it was aaaahhh-maaah-zing! The boys loved it and wanted more and I had to force myself to stop because I was getting addicted. I didn’t have all the ingredients so I made it my way, which was still amazing! However, if you want the recipe where I got the inspiration from here it is, https://www.theenglishkitchen.co/2018/11/easy-crack-chicken-tacos.html
The way I did it, because I didn’t have anymore BBQ sauce, nor any cabbage, I looked up a recipe to make a BBQ mock up. This is how I made my dinner:
After looking at a BBQ mock up recipe, I eyeballed the following into a bowl:
– apple cider vinegar
– ketchup
– little bit mustard
– small handful brown sugar
– dashes of garlic and herb seasoning (or just use a garlic powder, that was all I had)
– little bit of Worcestershire sauce
– dash of black pepper, I only had white pepper
– Lime
– test it out, if need be, add some water, I didn’t add any
I let that sit and threw the nuggies in the air fryer so they come out crunchy. If you don’t have an air fryer, then get those pots and pans out of oven and put those babies in there. Try to avoid the microwave for this recipe.
I used flour tortillas, chopped up lettuce ( I didn’t have cabbage), tossed the nuggies in the sauce, added to taco and lightly drizzled some ranch dressing and BAM! CRACK!
I Watch a Lot of Shhhtuff
The Woman King
I am a bit late to this one, but it was on my Netflix list and I finally watched it. Loved it. The costumes and fighting scenes were remarkable to watch. I felt the movie was very ell executed. The storyline was strong and reeled me in from beginning to end. While watching the movie, I got a nice rollercoaster of emotions. It was mainly a drama but there were some moments that made me giggle and also moments that got me teary eyed. I thought this movie was based on a true story but I came to find out it was more based on the Agojie women in history and not so much the characters. Another interesting note, the Agojie women were the inspiration for the Dora Milaje, the warrior women in the Marvel Black Panther movies. I See You–
This new movie on Netflix is a great detective thriller. I don’t know how to talk about it without giving it away haha. If you like that drama or read detective like books, I recommend this. The storyline is good and kept me on my toes.
Carnival Row–
If you have Amazon Prime, you must see this series. It’s only two seasons and yes there is some type of closure so you are left satisfied. The show is filled with detective horror, politics, discrimination and little bit of lost love. The sets and costumes are a sight to see… actually, if you like the games Fable and Skyrim, you might dig this show for the world. It’s a great storyline, sort of mirrors our corrupt world. Give it a chance!
Living with Anxiety?
Ashwagandha
I live with extreme anxiety. My phone is always on silent because the sounds trigger me, I have an issue of focusing, I have a phobia of always being worried about my son dying which I believe is called thanatophobia. Well I got off all my meds in my early 20s. I am trying to not fall for the pharma world (besides birth control because unfortunately my hormones are wack and I have PMDD) Anyways, I’ve been on ashwagandha for a couple months and it has helped so much. I am not a doctor but I definitely recommend looking into it and see if it’s something you want to try. It’s not a long term supplement. It does say only to take for a few months. Anyways, just a thought if you have some clarity issues. https://safetycutprojects.com/holistic-living/

NOSTALGIA
Not sure what kind of art you like, but I love dark stop motion animation. This is the Brothers Quay. I have a DVD of their shorts, I just love them. So much going on. If you are not familiar with their work, you might have seen it a bit in the film Frida, with Selma Hayek. I also added that video below the Street of Crocodiles. Another video I love is Are We Still Married? Check them out!
