“Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.”

THE RANT – FORGIVING YOURSELF
A friend of mine, on Instagram, shared an illustration and it said “Taking care of yourself is productive.” The timing of me reading this, couldn’t be anymore perfect. I started my week great with getting back into working out and walking. Then, I started to decline. I started beating myself up, mentally, because I found myself resting more. Genuinely, I felt my body and mind needed it, but I always get so mad at myself because there are things that need to get done. Like, I have been wanting to redo my bathroom and haven’t started anything.
Well, after reading that, I chose to forgive myself. Everyday, we go through some trial and tribulation. Everyday life can be a lot to handle. Especially, when you are trying to change patterns. I knew I wasn’t being lazy and that I really did need the rest. My week started strong and I believe my body and mind got overwhelmed. Maybe… Anyways, hope you all had a nice week. And forgive yourself if you didn’t get done what you wanted. Take one moment at a time.
LISTENING TO MUSIC TODAY
You know what I miss about listening to music?… I miss asking a friend, “make me a mix.” I still have cd’s save because they are just so special. Now, I use Spotify, which is not bad. My ipod doesn’t charge anymore to I’ve been going through my itunes and slowly adding music and making playlists onto my Spotify. IF SPOTIFY EVER SHUTS DOWN I’M SCREWED! Hahaha. I do like scrolling through other people playlists so I can hopefully discover something new for myself. That’s the best part, the discovery.
A feature, in Spotify, is the Enhance button. Sometimes, I’ll start making a playlist but want to add similar style songs but don’t know how. When you turn on the enhance button, it add a recommended song every 3rd song or so that it feels would suit best with the playlist. I love it. Here’s one of my playlists.
IT’S A MEEEEE, MARIOOO
The Super Mario Bros. Movie (In Theaters)
I loved this movie! I grew up playing Super Mario Bros and even old versions and as a huge fan, I was not disappointed at all with the film. I thought it was very clever. The storyline was great! I laughed a lot! AND, it brought in almost all elements from so many Mario games which was the clever part. I definitely recommend the movie.
Waco: American Apocalypse (Netflix) / Waco: the Aftermath (Showtime)
I had a moment to watch whatever came up on my screen and the documentary on the Waco standoff was it. I went into it not knowing anything. It was a very interesting story, kind of crazy how it went about.
Then, after watching that, the movie popped up so I was like ok, let’s do it. The movie was based off the books from the real people that went through it. It’s weird because I had mixed emotions, watching it, I was almost emotionally invested in the Davidens but yea I had to remember how they lived their lives… and exposing children to sexual contact with someone they thought was Jesus basically. It’s sick and sad to know people have these strong beliefs.
Beef (Netflix)
I also went into this series not knowing what it was about and I completely loved it. The ending was beautiful. The show is about two people who got beef with each other. The two have very different lives BUT feel very different about their lives so it’s kinda neat to see the two worlds and how messed up they are. It started off kinda fun and silly but then gets more serious and becomes a rollercoaster. Actors: Comedian Ali Wong and Walking Dead’s Steven Yeun. Don’t question it. Get a drink and start watching.
Started to walk but now I’m crashing
So, I finally started walking again. I am totally out of shape! If you saw me, you probably wouldn’t think at all that I am out of shape but yea… I am. Anyways. I started walking a few days and also did a HIIT workout which all of that left me sore for a few days. Also, include a night out in heels and the next day walking for hours at a big mall. Well, too much time has passed and I should’ve continued my beginning achievement but ugh… I lost the motivation and took me a long time to get it. Any tips??? When I was at the mall I did get new shoes with my son so we both could go walking together but I need to do more. Idk… do you have any issues with motivation?

NOSTALGIA
This is a fan art drawing I did a long time ago. I recently added some background graphics to spruce it up. Kinda mashed up this retro vibe with the yip yip martians. Get yourself a tee on my etsy (click on image) 🙂
