THE RANT – BEING A MOM AND… A MOM

This rant is a bit… maybe tooo personal…??? But what the heck. I don’t know if anyone has similar feelings but do you ever just want to shut away from everyone? And, not in a depressed way, but in a way of just being so frustrated you just don’t want to deal? Well that was me one day this week. My husband wasn’t doing things I expect him to do and my son the same. With my teenage son, he threw his phone at the wall and I had to yell at him, which I hate doing. So then I just shut down. I didn’t want to take to either of them. I mean I did if I HAD to but for like 24 hours I tried to ignore them and told them I wanted to be alone.

I don’t know, sometimes I just hate the routine and I hate when I have to become this mean mom to my son and also feel like a mom to my husband. It’s exhausting. My comfort is my room and watching movies or shows. That’s my getaway. What do you do for your getaway? Comment end of page.

MUSIC… DON BROCO

I previously talked about Sleep Token. Kinda obsessed about them at the moment. The other night, I was googling theories on who the band mates are, since they wear masks. Although I did come across an article about how they did reveal themselves a couple months ago hahaha… anyways! One of the theories was they thought they were Don Broco. So I looked them up and the first song I heard…. done. Fan and I need more. Here’s the first song I heard from them. If you like dark quirky humor, I think you will like this video haha. Great playing and great voice.

THIS WEEK’S MOVIE AND SHOWS

DUNGEON AND DRAGONS (In Theaters)
Finally saw this movie on Discount Tuesdays at the theater. If you didn’t know, now you know. Anyways, without giving anything away, I thought it was fun and silly. I went into it not knowing detailed stuff about the actual game but I am sure there were easter eggs any fan can appreciate. A must see adventure!

THE NIGHT AGENT (Netflix)
So, I caved in and decided to watch it. I heard about on the radio and it kept popping up on my feed. It picks up quick, which I like… there’s no slow moments. The rollercoaster begins and I think by the 3rd episode I had to pause to go out and buy some prosecco because I was invested and stressed out haha. Quick beginning: FBI agent works in basement, of the White House, and is in a small room with a desk and a phone. A phone that is known to not ring but one night it does…. and boom enjoy the thrill and questions and the twists.

TEETH AND GUMS

So, not to toot my own horn but if you saw my smile, you might say I have nice looking teeth. But I have actually had issues with plaque and gums… I know gross. Well, in my holistic googling, I found out about pulling oil. I can’t tell you how much it has helped. It’s an oil that you swish in your mouth 2 to 10 minutes. I had to work my way up. There are so many benefits to using this: helps with plaque issues, fights gingivitis, removes bacteria from tongue, it’s also great from preventing sinus issues.
