GETTING BACK TO MY NORM…
Not there yet!!! So, I just got my gallbladder taken out, can’t say anything positive yet, but I am hopeful. And! It was my birthday this weekend too. I can’t complain, I had wonderful friends come to my house to surprise me with Flowers, huge balloon, and some prosecco. Very thoughtful of them!
So, now that I am on my way to healing, I’ve already been thinking of all the things I need to catch up on. My candles are waaaay behind, I haven’t done any new drawings… I need to advertise myself as a photo restoration service… I am a bit overwhelmed on how I should manage all this. I need to figure out my new norm and that can be exhausting at the thought of it haha.
Do you have any side hustles or businesses? If so, do you set certain days to focus on it or is it an everyday thing?
Month of June, Prince...
I'm a huge Fan of Prince and June is the month of his birthday. So I think I will share covers of Prince songs this month! SOME RAWK!
OH YOU BEST BELIEVE I WATCHED A LOT!
MANIFEST (Netflix) * * *
FINALLY IT HAS ENDED... Ok I liked this show enough to stay invested... the ending... meh.... still kinda left me with a "but why though?" Lol. If you haven't heard about this show, basically a plane, with passengers, disappears for so many years. When they arrive, no time has passed for the passengers... so things have changed obviously. Each passenger is connected some way to each other and they try to solve the mystery... basically haha. Kinda reminds me of the 4400. It was good though!
THE CITADEL (Prime) * * * * *
Totally digging this show! It's about these agents from a special intel called the Citadel. A secret organization to keep the world safe basically. The agents lose their memory and try to remember their past to reveal twist worthy situations. It's dope.
AIR (Prime) * * * * *
This was a great watch. I found it very interesting with how show companies worked and how they were seen. This is about how the Air Jordan became.
SHAZAM FURY OF THE GODS(Max) * * *
I love me Marvel and DC movies and series. I genuinely liked this movie. It had heart, tugged on my heart strings a bit haha. The only problem I had with it was the editing... now I am not sure if it was real bad transition editing or if MAX had issues streaming.
THE CURIOUS CASE OF NATALIA GRACE (Max) * * * *
YOOOO! This documentary is IN-SANE. Basically this young girl, who has dwarfism, was adopted by a family and stuff happens and they are not sure if she is a child or an adult.... that's all I'm gonna say. It's effed up!
FLAMIN' HOT (Hulu and Disney Plus) * * * * *
Eva Longoria directed this movie about the man who invented the flamin hot cheeto. The movie is fun and hilarious. Has to do with minorities and the Mexican janitor who took initiative. Never knew the story and I love they made a movie about it.
MAGIC MIKE'S LAST DANCE (Max)
Ok... I am going to be mean for a moment... this movie sucked ass. HORRIBLE. The way it's advertised, is what it lacks. Boring ass story with Salma Hayek, who I love, but her acting even sucked in this too. I don't know man this movie was just terrible. I remember even when I saw the first movie, it just always lacked something. And there are awkward moments haha in the first and this one... like it was lacking background music in certain parts? Idk dude, shit was bad haha. There was no magic.
Some entertainment I recommend if you have nothing to watch: Missing Dead or Alive, Victim/Suspects, Fear the Walking Dead, The Great
BYE BYE GALLBLADDER
I'm still new to this not having a gallbladder and anything I eat just goes straight through me. My body gonna have to adjust, which sucks because I wanna go out to dinner! But I don't trust my tummy for that. I have to test and retrain my system at home. My liver doing all the work now haha.
I read about this supplement that is supposed to be good. Hope it works. People that had their gallbladder taken out love it so fingers crossed!

MONTHLY SHOUT OUT
I wanted to use this month's shout out to Nift Gifts. It's a company that gives you gift cards to, usually, newer companies so you can try their product and review them! Definitely check it out! The options do change too in case you think it's always the same options.

NOSTALGIA
This weekend was ToyCon, of course I missed it because of my recent surgery. No way I would've been able to walk it. If you are into all things nostalgia of toys, you can appreciate this. I love going through the bins and finding old toys I used to have as a little girl. I played alone a lot so nostalgic toys is a big thing for me.
